I’m a journalist and TV & video producer by trade, and lifelong writer. I’m also a tech blogger, and I have a passion for silversmithing & jewelry design, as well as world travel. I love learning about new places, new gadgets, finding new skills, and having new experiences. If you have a story you’d like me to help you share, I’d love to hear from you.

I’ve spent nearly 20 years in TV News and Journalism, working at TV stations across Canada, from Toronto, to Vancouver and Calgary.  I’ve won two Edward R. Murrow Awards for my TV work, the most recent one for a documentary called “Water at the Door”. I contribute to CTV’s Tech Talk monthly, as well as to the acclaimed Geeks and Beats Podcast as the “Gadget Ninja!”  I also contribute to print publications like Avenue Magazine, The Calgary Herald, City Palate Magazine and others, and take on a variety of freelance writing work in Canada and the USA.

I have had 2 of illumibowls and both stopped working. at first they were great, in about 2 months batteries had to be changed and then they wouldn’t work any more. they would come on only have you got up from the toilet seat? I have been waiting for the company to respond to my email for a week for free 100% replacement even though they charge shipping?
